Agriculture / Rural

Agriculture is the backbone of our great nation. Have you ever heard the term, “No Farms, No Food?”

Whether the product is grain, produce, livestock or dairy, the end result is necessary for everyone in their daily lives – especially for the farmer and his family’s financial well-being. Hauling cattle, baling hay and tilling fields – still all very time-intensive tasks that CB radios can assist with.

Although the industry of agriculture has come a long way technologically, it continues to be a 24 hour-a-day job.

The moral of the story: Communication in the agricultural industry is crucial for efficiency and safety.

President CB radios offer state-of-the-art function and portability to meet the demands of the farming and rural environments, such as:

COMPACT EASY-TO-INSTALL

Modern day farm equipment has more electronics and less space available for additional installs. Therefore, compact and easy-to-install CB solutions are increasingly important in this segment.

HANDHELD OPTIONS

Farming life requires a communication option that works when you need to be on foot. Having a quality handheld CB with a high-performance battery is an important tool for safety.

FM MODE (FREQUENCY MODULATION)

Improved sound quality with less background noise, which is optimum for communication within groups.

WEATHER CHANNELS/ALERTS

Allows reception of NOAA weather channels and setting of an alert. With bad weather like tornadoes, floods or whatever weather might be around the corner, the CB weather features are an important part of the safety toolkit.

NOISE REDUCTION CIRCUIT (NRC)

Vehicles can have high degree of background noise which carry through into the transmission of CB signals. NRC allows users to reduce the noise levels in both Tx and Rx modes. If the CB radio itself does not have inbuilt NRC, a President Digimike with NRC can be used.

PRESIDENT RADIOS RECOMMENDED FOR YOU

I've been a CB user for over 16 years, working in the agricultural sector. It's true that the cell phone has hurt this type of communication, but when I'm travelling in an oversize convoy (such as a threshing machine or large equipment) there's no substitute for the cb to warn me of any dangers I might encounter on the move (such as a fast-moving car, another convoy arriving in the opposite direction, etc.)...
