Warranty: President radios are backed with a 2-year warranty. When purchased with an external President antenna, the radio warranty increases to 5 years under our 2+3 program.

Beats the Prince Albert on head to head comparison.

The Prince Albert can be expensive, subject over the air infections and down right tacky. President Richard is hardy. Easy to place in tight spaces and offers a more visually appealing, natural appeal. Don’t be fooled. Most Prince Albert rigs are tiny and don’t deliver what they promise. A true President Richard rig gets in there and blows your competition away. Everyone will be stunned at potent and completion shaming your rig will provide when placed head to head with a Prince Albert.

This lil thing is awesome!!! Smaller than a cobra 29 lx so it will fit in the newer trucks , and only about 20-25 bucks more than the 29 lx . Tons of features..... I can’t really put into words how great this radio really is. And u will love the auto squelch control

You found it, this is the one!

Do yourself a favor and get this radio...Only been trucking for 11yrs now and I’ve gone through more than a few radios, it kinda became a hobby.... This is THE BEST radio “out of the box” I’ve ever had the pleasure of keying up. The 50w are there from the factory, no tuning required. The RECEIVE IS AMAZING, and so clear. The ASC (auto squelch control) is a game changer and I don’t ever want a radio without it again. This radio is packed with great features, you’ll just have to see for yourself.

For the price... Can't be beat!

For the price it cannot be beat. This many options and this much power in a galaxy would cost you $400. The audio is very clear... All features work great, and if adjusted properly, the best echo I've ever heard in a radio. I'm very please. May get one to use as a base station in the future.

Good value radio. Big ears, gets out ok.

Pretty good radio for money....Lots of different settings that are fun to play with. I like the beeping swr meter as I can make adjustments quickly with window rolled down and door closed without having to get back in and key up every time...

Slightly smaller than a Cobra 29

.... good sound and gets out even with the stock microphone, there is absolutely zero adjustments inside the radio, there's only two things that I don't like about the radio, the meter is always about 1/3 to 1/2 over no matter how quiet it is out it seems like that meter is way too sensitive and there is no way to adjust it and the radio is very sensitive in a mobile application as far as picking up power lines and things like that...

I have had lots of radios over the years and this is my favorite. Works great and I get radio checks from other towns and states..... This is a dinomite radio.

Good quality, but it has NO repeater shift or CTCSS

This radio is of very good quality and build. Modulation is excellent in both AM and FM. Receiver is sensitive has good adjacent channel rejection. But why adding FM WITHOUT repeater shift function and CTCSS (PL tone) capability? That does not make any sense.

This Is A Great AM Rig

The President Richard is an excellent AM rig. This radio's transmit audio has 90%+ modulation from the factory..... The transmit audio is loud, clear, crisp and clean. Like an expensive HF rig, the President Richard comes from the factory with a powered electret microphone, therefore there is no need to install an aftermarket power microphone. The factory powered electret microphone and cable is surprisingly good quality. This microphone can be replaced for less than $35, which is less expensive than most power microphones. Overall the transmit audio of this rig is very ICOM AM mode like smooth, yet loud enough to cut through the noise. The transmit audio of this rig is for those that appreciate fidelity, rather than blaring loudness. President Richard's receiver is modern Uniden like quality. The ANL / NB circuit is very good. The receive audio is very smooth and clean. The universal Uniden power cable that comes with this radio is very good quality, as it is thicker than a standard Uniden / Cobra power cable. The overall construction of this radio is Uniden like quality. The case is metal and the knobs and switches have a refined, modern feel. The bells and whistles are self explanatory. In conclusion, this radio is a solid performer on AM.

loud clean audio in a small package

.... no VR' trimmers for the hack shops to turn.. i also like the fact i can charge my cell phone right off of the included usb port on the radio. President keeps pushing the envelope on these smaller more power radios
