Awesome compact radio that delivers an eye opening punch in audio!

I love this radio so much that I bought another one! So now I have one as a base station and another in my Tacoma! Awesome reception and both of my President Ronald's will do 45+watts right out of the box! Great compact radio for those who don't have a lot of room in their vehicle....... I recommend President Radios every day, all day!

Powerful and Excellent Audio

I have been on radios for 25 years. This is an awesome radio... Forget the competition at hundreds of dollars more. This unit sounds like a $600.00 radio for less than $170.00. Buy, buy, buy. You will be VERY HAPPY.

Out of the box, RF power was set to low as it would go. Turn it up!

.... Ronald is a better radio period. Lots of cooling. Heat sink mounted on the back side of the radio. Heat sink mounted inside the radio on the relay side. The top cover has is vented too. One ding on this radio. There is just way too much feedback on the talk back. I don't usually use talk back, but I did have to use it to set the echo. Yes it's common for high powered radios to have feedback. Anyway, I just turned it off once the echo was set. It has very good receive and transmit power. Echo sounds pretty good too. Microphone cord is plenty long enough, and it's not stiff like some I have come across. No quick disconnect on the power. If you want to add a quick disconnect on the radio side power wiring, they are 14 gauge stranded....

Great sound, reception, and transmission. Pricey & no U/L sideband

I replaced my baby cobra that just stopped working after only a few years. I am hoping this one lasts longer. This radio sounds nice and i have already gotten some good qso’s in the American cb band. I hope to get at least 6 years with this due to it costing 6 times that of a cheap cobra or uniden. So far its easy to use, sounds great, and has great transmission and reception......

Great radio BUT....

...All the features you like in a great small package. Too much to list them all but they all work great..... Yes it's that small. If there was a way to eliminate the limiter so you can get 80-90% modulation talking I would give it 5 stars. This would be a great radio for a Jeep club ... 73's

The Ronald is a great small compact radio that packs a punch. 50 watts to be exact..... It is good in jeeps and compact cars or any car or truck for that matter. It is not a side band radio but It is just fine for am use ad for trail use. Nice radio that will hold up good and sounds good and loud. With the proper antenna setup you can get out about 20 miles.....
