George is everything!  There's so much to say about this AM/FM & SSB radio.  It is a premium-rich, work horse radio with voltage protection, NRC (Noise Reduction Circuit) and CTCSS/DCS, just to name a few.

 

Warranty: President radios are backed with a 2-year warranty. When purchased with an external President antenna, the radio warranty increases to 5 years under our 2+3 program.

First purchase - went perfectly and without a hitch

...I had a little bit of experience with CB radios in my youth (enough years back that I don't want to try to remember), and I was able to get this installed in my Colorado without any issues. Tuned it, everything. Absolutely fantastic.

Worth the cost to upgrade!

This was bought to replace the Cobra CB that came in the truck. Hook up was easy and getting it dialed was as well. Seems to work a heck of a lot better than the Cobra...

Right out of the box one of the best 40 channel radios. I have mine set up at the house as a base station... Radio was easy to setup and use. Made several contacts on SSB, all local reports have been great! Gonna use it for a base station, might get another one to use in my truck, later down the road!

...The president George is a great radio - i like all the features on it especially the weather alert - where i live in Tennessee you better have some kind of warning - the receive is excellent - speaker is great - i like how you can dim the lights on it - I also like the voltage meter and the built in SWR meter - lot of bells and whistles.
